
Cheshire Farm is a great place for groups to visit as it can constitute either a quick stop on the way to one of the many other attractions, a relaxing leisurely stop or a more involved educational visit. Cheshire Farm are able to tailormake your visit according to your time requirements.
The options for pre-booked visits are:
- Stop and enjoy a delicious ice cream and/or light lunches or afternoon teas in the country tea rooms
- Enjoy the animals and the other attractions at the farm - to see these click 'at the farm'
- Watch a video of how the ice cream is made from 'cow to cone'

"Cow to Cone Experience"
This facility offers both static and interactive displays aimed at fulfilling literacy, science, geography and PHSE learning objectives based around dairy farming, country conservation, a cow's life, the milk process and dairy products.
To assist school groups, a free education guide per 15 children is available to make this a thoroughly fulfilling visit. This facility is provided free if ice cream is purchased for the children.
The farm also offers schools an indoor lunch/classroom area and free worksheets which are obtained by clicking on worksheets below.
If you want to use these whilst visiting please print and bring them with you. You will also need to bring colouring in and writing materials for this exercise.

HEALTH & SAFETY FOR VISITORS
The Farm has had a Risk assessment which has been approved by Health and Safety. This is on record if any group requires it. The Farm is also checked regularly by both Environmental Health and Health and Safety.
There are no admission fees for any area of the farm or for any of the options above.
